Participation, creation and design of “Espacio Colloquia”, an arts and literary supplement inserted
in the Sunday newspaper.
Article featuring these publications appeared in the art magazine Lapiz, published in Spain in march 1999.
Design of artist’s projects including a poetry book, a series of postcards, and a matchbox among others.

Exhibition of the roughs and studies for the logotype of El Periodico de Guatemala/Newspaper, in the National Museum of Modern Art in Guatemala (MUNAM) as part of the collective exhibition “Bocetos” (“Roughs”) organized by Colloquia.
May - June ‘99
Member of the organizing committee of “Re:diseño 01”, a series of design conferences with the participation of local and international designers.
• Lecture with partner of Dos al Cuadrado, about the Editorial Design in Newspapers in Guatemala.
October ‘97
Interview published in the Guatemalan marketing and advertising magazine “Marca”.
May ‘92 - February ‘95
Associate Designer at “Tipos Graphic Art”, one of the most important graphic design firms in Guatemala, being pioneers in graphic design and the digital pre-press process.
• Responsible for creating corporate identities, annual reports, printed matter, posters and others, for important local clients such as the Guatemalan Tourist Commission (INGUAT), The National Association of Coffee (ANACAFE), Guatemalan Non-Traditional Products Exporter’s Association (GEXPRONT), developing all the graphic material for international exhibitions such as the Agriculture, Apparel and Furniture Shows.
• Design and layout for the monthly sports magazine “Antorcha” (“Torch”).

Designer at the Art Department of “Comunica Leo-Burnett Advertising” in Guatemala.
May ‘91 - October ‘91
Production Designer in the art department of the design firm Mocan&Associates, who worked exclusively all the pre-press material for the Comunica Leo-Burnett advertising agency.
In october ‘91 this design firm was absorbed completetely by Comunica Leo-Burnett.

Graphic Design studies in Rafael Landivar University in Guatemala, graduating with the title of Graphic Designer.
October ‘88
Obtained Diploma of the High School Program from the bilingual Valle Verde School in Guatemala.
